Can a poll be closed before the published end date and time?

Once a poll is published, the Poll Organizer cannot close and end the poll before the published end date and time of the poll.

Will all voters be able to see the poll results at the end of the poll?

Each voter will be able to see the vote cast by him/her but not the poll results. The Organizer will collate the results downloaded from the TRUSTeVote platform and votes cast through other means to declare the final results for the poll.

Can the Poll Organizer make changes to the poll?

The Poll Organizer can edit poll details before the Poll is published. Once it is published, the Poll Organizer will only be able to add voters to the poll until the time the poll ends.

Can a voter be deleted from the poll?

A voter can be deleted at any time before casting the vote. Once a voter casts the vote, they cannot be deleted from the voters list.

Can a voter recast the vote?

If the Organizer enables the ‘Recast’ feature before the poll is published, a voter can recast the vote any number of times until the poll closes; otherwise, a voter cannot recast the vote.

Does a voter have to create an account / login to cast the vote?

If the Poll Organizer enables the ‘Enforce Sign Up’ option, the Voter will have to create an account and sign-in to the TRUSTeVote platform in order to cast the vote; otherwise, a direct voting link to the voting page will be sent to the voter’s registered contact details (email / mobile) through email or SMS. This will enable voters to cast their vote without creating an account or logging in to the TRUSTeVote platform.

How to help increase voter participation?

The Poll Organizer can send any number of reminders to voters who are yet to cast their vote. These reminders can be sent to specific voters or to all at once.

How many Poll Items (Matters to vote on / Resolutions / Survey Questions, etc.) can be included in a poll?

There is no limit to the number of Poll Items (Matters to vote on / Resolutions / Survey Questions, etc.) that can be included in a poll

What information is required to set up a Poll?

In order to Set up a Poll the following details are required:

1. Poll Details
2. Poll Item Details
3. Voter Details
4. Any other customization requirement – Recast option, Vote Confirmation with OTP option, Direct Voting Link option, and Files to be attached, etc.
5. Invoicing Data – Client Name for billing purpose along with GST Number, contact address and mobile number

How can I make payment?

How much time is required to set up a poll?

To set up a simple poll on behalf of the Poll Organizer, you will need to provide the required information to TRUSTeVote support team at least 24 hours before the scheduled poll start time. Depending on the number of Poll Items and Voters, this could take much longer time.

Can a poll be set up and managed on behalf of a Poll Organizer?

Yes. TRUSTeVote expert support team can set up and manage the poll for you. Please call us for the information you will need to provide us to set up and manage the poll for your organization.

How secure is the poll conducted on the TRUSTeVote platform?

TRUSTeVote has cleared the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Test as per OWASP guidelines conducted by an empanelled agency, and is safely and securely hosted on the Amazon Cloud platform.

What is “Required Voting Share”?

It is the minimum percentage of votes that a Polled Item (Matter to vote on / Resolution / Question, etc.) is required to attain in order to be the ‘winning’ Option. The Required Voting Share can be set by the Organizer at the time of adding the Poll Item and can differ from one Poll Item to another in a poll.
